Sprawled across the Equator in the middle of the Indian Ocean is the unspoiled tropical jewel called the Maldives.
The Maldives consist of 1190 islands with 26 major atolls strewn across an area of 500 miles by 75 miles. Only 200 of the islands are inhabited, and 87 of those have been developed as resorts.

Resorts/Live-aboards

Hulhule Island Hotel – is the gateway to this beautiful paradise. Nestled in a lush and tropical landscape, Hulhule Hotel is just a five minute walk from Maldives International Airport and 10 minutes by boat to the capital city Male.

Bandos Island Resort A beautiful coral island situated about 4 miles from Male International Airport. Bandos Island Resort offers 225 rooms discretely tucked away in lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by palm trees and white sandy beaches. The natural splendor is complemented by the modern amenities of the resort, which ensure that your stay is both comfortable and memorable.

Guests arrive at the capital, Male, to start their live-aboard cruise.

Maldives Agressor -
A new addition to the Aggressor Fleet. This 115 foot vessel will cruise around palm fringed islands with sparkling white beaches, turquoise lagoons, clear warm waters and coral reefs teeming with abundant varieties of marine flora and fauna. The big attraction, however, are the schools of fish that patrol the reefs in colorful packs.

M/V Ocean Dancer -
This 110 foot vessel cruises not one, but three of the atolls in the general area of the capital city Male. These large atolls cover hundreds of square miles of ocean and provide excellent diving. Not only will 16 guests enjoy the luxury accommodations on board the new vessel, but all of the diving will be done from a custom built, 55ft. dive tender called the "Diving Dhoni." The Ocean Dancer runs November thru May. Join us on-board in 2009

Other live-aboard boats in the Maldives include: M.Y. Manthiri, and the
M/V Madivaru 7.

The Maldives are an unforgettable and marvelous part of the world, and a very special place for divers and people who love the sea. Whale sharks, normally an illusive species, are not uncommon as they migrate from the waters of Thailand to S.W. India.
