Countries all over the world are reopening for American tourists. Some countries have even dropped all COVID-19 entry requirements for US travelers. We will update the list as changes are made and do our best to keep it as current as possible. COUNTRIES CURRENTLY OPEN FOR TRAVEL (as of 04/26/2022)

  • Bahamas - All fully vaccinated travelers are required to obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken no more than 3 days (72 hours) prior to arrival and unvaccinated travelers must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken no more than 5 days prior to arrival. All travelers must upload the results to the online travel health visa.
  • Belize – Unvaccinated travelers entering Belize will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken within 96 hours of travel OR take a test on arrival. Have a reservation with a Gold Standard Hotel or Liveaboard.
  • Bonaire - All travelers need the Health Declaration between 72 hours and 48 hours before departure. As of January 22, 2021 Vaccinated travelers need: A negative PCR or NAAT-test result, from a test taken within 48 hours before departure OR a negative Antigen test result from a test taken within 24 hours before departure. Non Vaccinated travelers need: A negative PCR or NAAT-test result, from a test taken within 48 hours before departure.
  • Cambodia - Visa applications must be made prior to departure to Cambodia, as the Royal Government of Cambodia does not yet allow Visa on Arrival, or apply online via the official government website. Passengers who have been fully vaccinated should have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and a COVID-19-free certificate (PCR test) 72 hours prior to arrival in Cambodia, recognized by the health authority of the host country or the last host country before leaving for Cambodia. Rapid antigen test upon arrival and wait for roughly 20min for the result, with a negative test result passengers can travel everywhere within the country.
  • Colombia - Starting December 14, 2021 all international travelers, 18yrs+ must show their vaccination card or certificate with a full dosage.
  • Costa Rica - No test or quarantines for US travelers.
  • Cayman Islands - All visitors (adults and children) must be fully vaccinated by a WHO approved vaccine, and, be traveling from a country with vaccination rates of 60% or more to avoid quarantine. This includes the United States, Canada, and the UK. Apply to travel to Cayman portal for an official Certificate to Travel by requesting a Travel Declaration. This can be done up to 90 days prior to arrival. Travel with a printed copy of your results. Take a pre-arrival rapid antigen test or PCR test 24 hours prior to departure with a negative result. Travel with a printed copy of your results. It's recommended to have suitable medical and travel insurance, which includes COVID-19 and associated costs, such as quarantine. Travel with a printed copy of insurance.
  • Curacao - Now open to all US residents. Visitors are required to complete a digital immigration card. Within 48 hours before departure, you need fill out the Passenger Locator Card (PLC), be sure to carry a printed copy with you. Each visitor will need to show a negative result from a certified COVID-19 PCR test taken 72 hours prior to departure.
  • Dominica - Negative PCR COVID-19 test result within 72 hours, or negative Rapid Antigen test result with 48 hours prior to arrival, online health questionnaire.
  • Dominican Republic - No test or quarantines for US travelers.
  • Ecuador - Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. All visitors must complete and present a traveler health declaration form. Upon arrival you will be screened for symptoms and complete a customs form.
  • Egypt - All passengers traveling to Egypt must be in possession of negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19, taken no more than 96 hours before your arrival into Cairo. Bring TWO printed copies of the test results, digital results ARE NOT accepted. **Fully vaccinated travelers from the USA no longer need a PCR test prior to traveling to Egypt when on EgyptAir flights from JFK or IAD**This may change at any time.
  • Fiji - Fiji is open to all fully vaccinated travelers from Travel Partner Countries for quarantine free travel. Travelers are required to produce a negative RT-PCR test taken no more than 48 hours prior to departure or a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) taken no more than 24 hours prior to departure. All travelers over the age of 18 must produce proof of full vaccination, and proof of minimum 3 night pre paid accommodation at a Care Fiji Commitment certified property. Travelers must have medical travel insurance, with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling.
  • French Polynesia - All travelers MUST be immunized and carry proof of vaccination, for all fully vaccinated travelers over 18 years old, the vaccination status remains complete beyond 9 months only if the traveler has received an additional dose (booster). Travelers have to present a COVID 19 negative result of an antigen or RT-PCR test carried out less than 24 hours before their departure for French Polynesia. The test carried out on arrival at Tahiti airport remains in force for each traveler, however, there will be no additional cost. For more details click here.
  • Grenada - Be fully vaccinated 14 days or more before your trip, complete the health declaration form, and provided a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure.
  • Guatemala - Negative Covid-19 test results, no longer than 72 hours prior to departure.Proof of vaccination allows passengers to skip the testing rule.
  • Honduras - All travelers entering or exiting Honduras must complete the immigration pre-check form. Travelers will receive a confirmation email, which they should print and carry with them. Fully Vaccinated travelers do not need a COVID-19 test prior to travel. You will need to bring the ORIGINAL vaccination Card with you. All non-vaccinated or not fully vaccinated travelers travelers must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. This can be a PCR test OR a Rapid test.
  • Indonesia - Open to fully vaccinated travelers. Must provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test 48 hours taken no more than 48 hours prior to departure, hold a certificate showing proof of full vaccination or received booster jabs, have travel insurance that coves COVID-19, show confirmation of accommodation/travel agency booking.
  • Maldives - All travelers must have a Negative Covid-19 test result within 96 hours of departure to country, submit your negative result within 24 hours of travel and complete the traveler health form declaration.
  • Mexico - No Restrictions
  • New Zealand - Starting April 30, 2022 all fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to travel to New Zealand.
  • Nicaragua - Visitors need to bring a negative COVID-19 test, taken with with 72 hours of departure.
  • Oman - All passengers must take a PCR test upon arrival at the Muscat International Airport.  All passengers must self-isolate while they await test results, which usually takes around 12-24 hours.  Visitors staying 7 days or less after a negative result is received, can end self-isolation and enjoy their trip.
  • Palau - Travelers must submit proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination with final dose administered at least fourteen (14) days prior to departure to the Republic.  All Travelers must also provide proof of either: A negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test taken within three (3) days prior to departure from the point of origin to the Republic; orDocumentation of recovery from COVID-19 which includes proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from a healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you have recovered and are cleared to travel. All inbound travelers shall be subject to Mitigation Orders that include undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing on the first (1st) and fifth (5th) day following arrival in Palau. Testing shall occur at the Belau National Hospital between 8:00am – 10:30am. COVID-19 testing cost is $30.50 per test.
  • Panama - Visitors need to bring a negative COVID-19 test, taken with in 48 hours of departure. Vaccinated Americans can show certification that they’ve received both doses of the vaccine, they can enter Panama without showing proof of a negative PCR or antigen test.
  • Papua New Guinea - All persons must be fully vaccinated to travel to PNG. A person is considered fully vaccinated if they have had the recommended number of doses for an approved vaccine within the past 6 months as per schedule 2 - OR - they have had the recommended number of doses for the vaccine as listed in schedule 2 AND they have had a booster vaccine. All persons traveling to PNG must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to their original port of departure. Complete a PNG Health declaration form online. All people arriving into PNG will be tested again for COVID-19 upon arrival at Port Moresby International Airport (RATs); There shall be no quarantine for any person, except for persons who test positive on arrival who shall be quarantined for 7 days in an approved hotel and at traveller’s own cost.
  • Philippines - The Philippines is open to fully vaccinated travelers. Passengers are required to show proof of vaccination, take a RT-PCR test within 48 hours of departure from their country of origin, present a negative test result on arrival and carry travel insurance that covers  COVID-19.   • Rwanda - Negative Covid-19 test taken at most 72 hours before arrival
  • South Africa - Visitors will need to bring a negative COVID-19 test, taken with in 72 hours of departure and download government contact-notification application.
  • St. Kitts & Nevis - Visitors will need to bring a negative COVID-19 test, taken with with 72 hours of departure, proof of their booked accommodations at one of the seven approved hotels, and fill out the travel authorization form.
  • St. Lucia - For fully vaccinated travelers no pre-travel test is required. You must present vaccination record on arrival. Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 test result within 5 days prior to arrival.
  • St. Maarten - Negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours
  • St. Vincent and Grenadines- US citizens will be tested on arrival
  • Tanzania- Negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours
  • Thailand - From 1 February, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers from any country around the world can apply for a TEST & GO Thailand Pass 60 days in advance, more details can be found here.
  • Turks and Caicos - All visitors, aged 16 years of age and above, must be "fully vaccinated". Proof of vaccination accepted are: Vaccination letters signed by a doctor (must include doctor's registration or license number). E-Cards or printed vaccine cards, such as those from CVS, Walgreens, NHS or similar sources. All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, will still be required to take a negative COVID-19 test no more than 3 days prior to arrival in the islands. All travelers to the Turks and Caicos must obtain travel pre-authorization via the TCI Assured Portal. Insurance which covers COVID-19 medical costs and full hospitalization, doctors’ visits, prescriptions and air ambulance. A completed online health screening questionnaire.
